Hello, if you look at the heel of the left boot, right above the heel, is there a whole in the seam? It looks like there is a whole an open area in the the seam of the backseam of the boot.

Oh no, that's not what I mean. The left shoe definitely has an open seam just above the heel area. Take a closer look. It's particularly clear in the picture where both shoes are shown from the back. The seam is about 1.5cm open, the thread of the seam is broken. The back seam that holds the entire back shaft together will come apart when the shoes are worn if this area is not repaired.
